Help with Stitch. Can't find your answer? Email support@g-apps.in with your phone's model, its Android version and Stitch's version (in Stitch, tap About).
Getting started
What do I need?
An Android phone with Android 7.0 or later, and some free space for your exports. No account, and no internet connection.
How do I make a video?
- Tap New project and choose your videos and photos.
- Edit along the timeline: tap a clip to trim, split or change it, and use the tools below for text, stickers, music, effects and more.
- Tap Export, choose a video, a GIF or (for a single photo) a photo, and save it.
Where are my exports?
In your phone's Gallery. Videos are saved in Movies/Stitch, GIFs in Pictures/Stitch/GIFs, and photos in Pictures/Stitch. Stitch's Exports tab lists them too.
Exporting
Can I use other apps while a video exports?
Yes. The export carries on in the background, and a notification shows how far it is. On Android 13 and later, allow Stitch's notifications to see it.
Why can't I choose 4K?
Stitch says why under the Quality choice. 4K needs videos filmed in 4K (Stitch never enlarges a video), and a phone whose video chip can make 4K videos. Stitch checks your phone once by making a short 4K test video, and shows the answer on the Export screen and the Stitch Pro page.
An export failed. What can I do?
Try again at a lower quality (1080p or 720p), and check there's free space on your phone: Stitch says how much it needs. If it keeps failing, email us the message Stitch showed.
Projects
Where are my projects kept?
Inside Stitch, on your phone. A project keeps your edits and links to the videos, photos and music you chose; your files are never changed. Projects aren't in Android's backups, so export the videos you want to keep before you reset your phone or uninstall Stitch.
A clip is red and says its file is missing.
The video or photo was deleted, moved or renamed after you added it. Put the file back where it was, or delete that clip to play and export the rest.

Is Stitch Pro a subscription?
No. It's one purchase through Google Play, and it's yours for good: it works on every Android phone signed in to your Google account, and comes back by itself if you reinstall Stitch.
Can I try Pro tools before I buy?
Yes. Everything marked PRO works in the editor. Only exporting with it needs Pro, and you can always export without the Pro things instead. Your project keeps them either way.
Will 4K work on my phone?
Open the Stitch Pro page in the app (Settings → Get Stitch Pro) before you buy: it says whether your phone can export in 4K. If it can't, Pro still unlocks everything else, but not 4K on that phone.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are handled by Google Play, so refunds are too: see Google Play's help on refunds. If you have a problem with Stitch Pro, email us first; we're happy to help.
