Privacy Policy
Last updated 11 October 2026
In short: everything stays on your phone. Stitch collects nothing. There's no account or sign-in, no analytics, no ads and no crash-reporting service.
Stitch is a video editor made by g-apps.in. This policy says what Stitch does with your information.
What Stitch collects
Nothing. Stitch has no account or sign-in, no analytics, no ads and no crash-reporting service. It doesn't have Android's permission to use the internet, so it can't send anything anywhere.
Your videos, photos and music
Stitch opens only the files you choose in Android's file picker. It reads them on your phone to show and edit them. Your projects (your edits, and links to the files you chose) are kept in Stitch's own storage on your phone. When you export, the new video, GIF or picture is saved in your phone's Movies or Pictures folder.
Stitch doesn't upload, copy elsewhere or share any of this. You decide what to share, with Android's Share button.
AI Select
The AI that selects and follows objects in your videos runs entirely on your phone. Your pictures are never sent to a server.
Permissions
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
| Notifications (Android 13 and later, optional) | To show how far an export is while you use other apps. |
| Running in the background and keeping the phone awake | Only while an export runs, so it carries on while Stitch is out of sight. |
| Storage (Android 9 and older only) | To save exports in your Movies and Pictures folders. |
Stitch asks for nothing else.
Backups
Stitch's projects aren't included in Android's backups.
Deleting your information
Deleting a project in Stitch deletes its edits from your phone; the files you chose are never changed. Uninstalling Stitch deletes all its projects. What you exported stays in your Gallery until you delete it.
Children
Stitch isn't directed at children under 13, and it collects no information from anyone.
Google Play and Android
Google Play handles installing Stitch. If you've allowed it in your phone's settings, Android may send crash reports to Google; Stitch adds nothing of yours to them. Google's privacy policy covers what Google collects.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be in the app and on this page, with a new date.
